MHE2 Motorsports partners with the Army and Air Force National Guards to enhance the Family Readiness Group (FRG) mission. Based in Franklin, Tennessee, Mark Hyjek, owner of MHE2 Motorsports has undertaken a creative and responsive marketing program that will benefit sponsors of his race team and the Army and Air Force National Guards. In summary, Hyjek states, “We are offering a program where corporations can create a financial foundation for the Army and Air Force National Guards to foster the implementation of a readiness program that supports the families and reservists who provide support to our military and our country.”

Historically, a reservist’s livelihood and family life were only temporarily impacted by the reservist’s commitment to the military. However, our country’s and military’s reality has been forever changed, and as such, the role of the reservist is also changing. As the reservists respond to new demands, we must realize that those demands are placed on the families too. In an effort to inform, educate, support, and coordinate with the soldiers and their family, all commanders in the middle Tennessee area have been charged with creating a Family Readiness Group.

The mission of the group is “To build strong Guard families through a partnership of an informed and supportive Military chain of command, working together with a fully educated and functional Family Readiness chain of concern. Together our soldiers and airmen work in harmony with their families and the Guard community to provide effective communication, involvement, and support for all families, while preparing for the challenges of tomorrows’ Mission Readiness.”

The partnership between MHE2 and the FRG provides much needed financial assistance to the FRG to meet its goal of supporting soldiers and their families. “It is a win-win situation for the sponsors, for MHE2, and for the FRG. In addition, it lets our soldiers know that while they are there when we need them, we are here for their families when they need us,” Hyjek said.
